21 Days of Hygge: Sunlight Tea Wishing Ritual

Today, as you make your cup of tea & then find a spot to luxuriate in sunlight, I want you to think about the winter wishes you made on Sunday. During the time it takes you to drink your tea, I want you to practice living each wish. Imagine it happening in as much detail as you can. Linger over your tea & give yourself several minutes for each wish.

Here's an Example

So, whatever your wish was, live it out in several different ways. What would be the implications of getting exactly what you wished for this winter?

But also, think of these moments as great opportunities for making revisions! For example, if while dreaming it up, you see negative implications, that may mean that that is what your mind expects to happen.

Erase the screen & suggest a different possibility. In fact, try to think of several different possibilities.

Keep changing the vision to something better until what you are seeing begins to resonate with you.

Once you see it playing out in all the ways you would like, make sure to hold the vision in your mind for several minutes as if you're watching a movie. Daydream it in the way you normally daydream.

By the way, just drinking the tea is hygge, but feel free to make the moment even more so. Light a candle, wrap yourself up in your favorite throw or sweater, have a seat in your comfy chair by the fireplace. The more hygge your experience, the better the energy will be that you send during your meditation/wish practice.

Holding the intention that your wishes come true!

Love, Jeanine

KemKem, that is perfect!! We are more open right before we go to sleep, so what a great time to do it. Awesome!

My tea choice is ice. Hot beverages are either coffee or the (very) occasional hot chocolate. But, I don't begrudge those who like tea their options. Just don't foist them upon me!

Should you ever be my guest, I will offer you hot chocolate or iced tea. It's not very hygge to have to drink something you don't enjoy.

I could go for a cup of tea. At night, I would enjoy a cup of chamomile tea for relaxation. As for the wishes... I'm not sure what I would wish for... maybe for people to be kinder. Our world has become very unkind. I would wish for my true love to show up but I am afraid that I am too old to find love so... sigh...

Alice, I remember making myself a cup of chamomile tea every night after I put my son to bed. It would be just in time for House Hunters on HGTV and I'd sit there, sipping while choosing the house of my dreams. :)

I believe we are never too old for true love, so if dares help, I double dog dare you to wish for it!

You already know me too well. I am incapable of turning down a dare, especially if it's in the double dog dare category. I shall wish away. :)
